• Approx. 8 (11) yds or 7 (10) m DK or light-worsted weight yarn in contrast color for brim

• U.S. size 5 (3.75 mm) 12” or 16” circular needles or size needed to obtain gauge

• U.S. size 4 (3.5 mm) 12” or 16” circular needle or one size smaller than gauge needle
