Inspired by the cult 80’s classic movie, this is our design for your
own pesky poltergeist, Beetlejuice. Turns out you don’t have to
say his name 3 times, you can just crochet him instead!

The figure is designed to stand, unaided, and the arms can be
wired so that they can be posed.

The pattern has been designed using Drops Paris cotton yarn, but
you can use whatever yarn you have to hand by changing the
hook gauge accordingly.

Measurements: The finished piece measures approx. 22cm tall.

Materials Required:

 Aran Yarn (white, black, beige, green and
scraps of purple for the eyes)
 3.5mm crochet hook
 9 mm safety eyes (x2)
 Stuffing material
 Stitch markers and pins
 Yarn needle
 Scrap of packing cardboard (optional)
 Fabric or hobby glue (optional)

Stitch Knowledge Required:

Sc = Single crochet

 Hdc = Half double crochet
 Dc = Double crochet
 Slip st = Slip stitch
 Invdec = Invisible decrease
 BLO = Back loops only
 FLO = Front loops only
 Ch = Chain
 ** = a repeating stitch pattern
