Begin Again Shawl
After a tough year, I like the idea of starting fresh in January. The Begin Again Shawl is the perfect project to begin your new year or for whenever you need a fresh start.
The begin again shawl features a solid background color with both narrow and wide bands of accent colors. The shawl is filled with special cluster stitches that create perfect pops of color. Use a gradient set or pick four or five different colors for greater contrast. In either case, the shawl is perfect for your new beginning.
The triangular shawl is worked from one vertex. For the first half of the shawl, increase are made at both edges and decreases are made in the middle of the shawl. Then, increases are made only on one edge and decreases are made on the other edge and in the middle.
Level: Intermediate
The pattern features a special cluster stitch and two decrease stitches. All special stitches are detailed in the picture tutorial.
