This basic sock pattern was written for a beginner with basic knitting knowledge.
24sts over 10cm.
Size 1 - approx 17cm circ
Size 2 - approx 20cm circ
Size 3 - approx 23cm circ
Row gauge and length don’t matter too much as it is adjustable.
I used 3 colours of woolganics 8 ply in the sample to show the different sections however you can use any 8 ply yarn in various colours.
Approx. 300-350m of 8-ply (DK) yarn. The best choice is usually with a composition of 75-85% wool/alpaca & 15-25% nylon/polyamide.
Stitch Markers
Tape measure
3.25mm needles in 80cm, DPNS or 9”.
This has been written for magic loop however you are welcome to use any method of working in the round.
