This blanket is a perfect model for a beginner knitter. Knitted with big needles and easy stitches, it helps make a nice gift quickly. An easy knit afghan pattern with knit and purl stitches.

4 different size blankets can be made with this pattern.

SKILL LEVEL : beginner
You will need to know how to cast on stitches, knit and purl confidently, read a row by row knitting pattern, bind off stitches and weave in ends.

Baby 25” x 29.5” (63 x 75 cm) approx.
Child 34.5” x 41” (88 x 104cm) approx.
Medium 49” x 59”(125 x 148 cm) approx.
Large 55” x 75” ( 140 x 191 cm) approx.

RECOMMENDED YARN: super bulky yarn.
Size Baby 380 – 440 yards (350 - 400 m)
Size Child 740 – 820 yards (675 - 750 m)
Size Medium 1500 – 1750 yards (1400– 1600m)
Size Large 2000 – 2180 yards (1850 – 2000m)
Please note, yarn amounts are approximate.
NEEDLES: US 13 (9 mm) 29” - 38” circular knitting needles or size to obtain gauge.
OTHER: tapestry needle, stitch markers.
GAUGE : on #US 13 needles (9 mm)
4” x 4” (10 x 10 cm) 9 sts x 15 rows
