A reversible diamond pattern is easy to create as it just uses basic knit and purl stitches. This pattern is very easy to knit and ideal for beginner knitters.

You will need to know how to cast on stitches, knit and purl confidently, read a row by row knitting pattern, bind off stitches and weave in ends.

DK weight , light worsted yarn
You can knit with any yarn you like : wool, cotton or acrylic in DK weight / light worsted yarn.

Baby blanket 900 – 1050 yards (820 – 960 m)

NEEDLES: US 6- 7 (4 – 4.5 mm) 29” - 38” ( 80 cm – 100 cm) circular knitting needles or size to obtain gauge.
GAUGE : on #US 6 - 7 needles (4.0mm-4.5mm)
4” x 4” (10 x 10 cm) 19 sts x 28 rows
Gauge is not important as it is a blanket and it just amends the size a bit.
Other: tapestry needle, stitch markers.
