Baby Beginner Brick Pattern – Multi Size

This simple Brick Textured Blanket makes the perfect blanket for a treasured baby gift, or make one big enough to throw over a sofa!

The blanket features a garter stitch border to the edge with a simple knit and purl brick effect.

Row by row written instructions, using only knit and purl stitches, it is the ideal project for new knitters and a relaxing knit for those more experienced.

With instructions on how to scale this blanket to any size, you can knit this for babies, kids and adults.

When knitting the smallest size, the blanket will approximately measure 28” x 28”, based on using 4mm needles and 200grams of baby DK yarn.

This is just a guide- the pattern can be knitted on any wool weight or needle size of your choice, just ensure you have enough of your chosen yarn to complete your project. The pattern also includes easy to follow instructions on how to scale this blanket to any size, enlarging the width and the length.
