This is a super simple pattern designed for knitters who have never worked in the round before. I have an accompanying step-by-step free video tutorial on youtube that will walk you through every step of the project. The pattern does assume you know how to cast on and work both a knit and a purl stitch. I have tutorials for each of those as well. Watch the video here.

SIZING
• 24” {61 cm} around by 10” {25 cm} tall.
Highly customizable: cast on more stitches to increase the circumference, and work additional knit rounds in the body to add length. Keep in mind that these adjustments will affect the yardage required.

YARN
• Bulky (#5) weight: 100 yards, {91 meters}.

Sample uses: Lion Brand Hue + Me (80% Acrylic, 20% Wool - 137 yards {125 m}/125g in Cement.

OTHER MATERIALS
Yarn needle & removable stitch marker

NEEDLES
• Gauge: US 13 {9.0 mm} circular needles in 16” {40 cm} length.
Or size needed to match gauge.
• Rib: A set of circular needles 1-2 sizes smaller than the gauge needles in the same cord length.
Sample used a set of US 11 (8 mm) in the same cord length.

GAUGE
Stockinette - Worked in the Round
• 9 sts / 15 rounds = 4″ {10 cm}.
