I created this felted bag as part of a beginner knit class I teach at my local community centre. It is a great way to learn all the basics such as casting-on, knit, purl, knitting in the round, using markers, casting off and the i-cord bind-off. The best part is that your gauge doesn’t matter since you will be felting the bag when you are finished knitting. All of your imperfections will magically shrink away in the wash.

The bag is knit with two strands of worsted weight wool. Please make sure you have 100% wool and not superwash wool so the bag will felt.
Gauge is not an issue since the bag will be felted.
