Beginner friendly baby cardigan
Beginner friendly baby short-sleeve cardigan is a simple stockinette sweater worked top-down, starting with garter stitch neckband. Buttonhole bands are formed with 6 stitches at the beginning and at the end of the row and are worked in garter stitch. On the raglan part the increases are made every second (right side) row. After each increase row there should be 8 stitches more than on the previous row. The cardigan is finished with simple 2x2 rib for body and for sleeves. There are no stitches increased for the underarm part.
The pattern is written for two sizes:
· Smaller size: for a baby about 6 months,
· Bigger size: for a baby about 18 months.
For both instructions are the same. The difference is because of the size of needles.
