This is a PDF pattern with step-by-step instructions (with pictures) detailing how to make the Heart Garland. The hearts are made up of crochet rectangles that are layered to make 3D designs much like paper quilling. It is a perfect project to learn how to crochet due to only simple crochet stitches used (single crochet and double crochet) and no increasing/decreasing (or the dreaded magic ring/circle)! I used worsted-weight yarn with a 5.5mm hook for the photos, however, any weight can be used as long as the yarn type and weight are uniform between all colors used.
