Beginner Infinity Scarf
This pattern is easily adapted, so you can make any size infinity scarf. The pattern is more here to guide you through the trickier parts of knitting a long, long project like a scarf. There are two options for downloading - a recipe, which shows you how to make a scarf of your own (any stitch pattern and length), while the second download gives the directions I came up with for the super simple, really fun infinity scarf.
It uses one skein of chunky yarn, but with huge needles. I used 12.0 knitting needles. You can use any large needles from 10mm to 15mm. Whatever size you have!
BTW: after knitting this, I had enough yarn to crochet a cute little basket. You won’t need all 195 yards of yarn, though if you are using a stitch pattern, it may take more yarn than a plain stockinette scarf.
