This is a pattern for a baby blanket or afghan made with worsted weight (category 4, aran) yarn and size H/8 (5 mm) crochet hook.

The finished blanket measures approximately 33 by 33 inches. About 1020 yards of yarn is needed for this size. The specific yarn that I used is Pound of Love by Lion Brand (1 skein, 1020 yards, 448 grams).

The skill level is beginner. This is a beginner friendly project, and if you know how to make chains, single crochets, double crochets, and slip stitches, you will be able to crochet this blanket!
