Beginners balaclava is just that, an easy pattern designed for a smooth trial of knitting a balaclava as a first time.

This balaclava is done by using circular needles and 1x1 rib stitch pattern. In this pattern you will need to know/learn; Cast on, knit, purl, bind off, picking up stitches and seaming edges.

The balaclava pictured was made with Katia Wow Chunky yarn - colour kaki 69.
