Being Batty Purse is made holding 3 strands of worsted weight #4 yarn together for the head, body and strap. 2 strands together for the ears. And single stranded for the wings.

It is worked in the round except for the strap with the ears and wings sewn on.

Once put together the head slides up the strap revealing the draw string opening of the body. There are pockets that can be added to the insides of the wings.

The body holds a 1 liter water bottle well and the wing pockets can fit an iphone.

Supplies needed:
500-600 yards of main color (red heart super saver in charcoal is used for the one in the pictures)
small amounts of pink and white for facial features
1 set of size 30mm safety eyes
1 single 20 mm plain black safety eye for wing closure
