Please note, this pattern uses 6 strands of worsted weight yarn held together. I like this method because it gives greater access to different colors and you can easily create a variegated fabric. Alternatively, you can use 2-3 strands of weight 5 yarn.

This pattern is beginner to intermediate. It includes many pictures to guide you through the process.
The only stitches you need to know are:
Magic Circle, Chain, Slip Stitch, Half Double Crochet.

Materials needed are:
J crochet hook 5.75 mm
Yarn needle
800 yds worsted weight yarn
70 yds worsted weight yarn
Small amount black weight 5 yarn.

Finished basket size is approximately 7.5” tall x 9.5” wide, but you could make it larger by adding rows.
