Belgian Waffles socks are knit cuff-down in the round. Ribbed cuff flows seamlessly into the traveling slip-stitch (also known as twisted stitch) print on the leg and instep. Pattern has classic mid-calf leg length, but is very easy to adjust. Classic slip-stitch heel matches the print and ensures durability of your socks, it is also easily adjustable for your individual rise. The sock is finished with a classic rounded toe and Kitchener graft at the tip.
The way the print stands out against the reverse stockinette background made me think of Belgian waffles with their deep pockets. These socks also give me that same warm and fuzzy feeling with a slight hint of indulgence, as eating a delicious waffle.
It has a classic and feminine fit, is very easy to knit and is perfect for sunny spring days.
