Belinda the Ballerina
Belinda is so excited as she practices with Betsy for their recital.
They are ready to burst the seams of their tiny tutus as they giggle and whisper in their excitement.
They review the pivots and stretching that is so important for any ballerina. This is easy for them as they have plastic hip and shoulder joints that allow them to move freely as they go through their routine.
Belinda is knit in Sirdar Snuggly 3 ply yarn and her outfit is worked in Carons Simply Soft Light, but any dk yarn would be suitable. The hair is worked in the same dk yarn and braided to ensure no stray strands of hair get in their freckled faces when they are dancing.
This design is not difficult but it does take some time to assemble and embellish. I personally enjoy the art of embellishing the finished knitting and have given precise instructions in the pdf. Photos are included for clarification as well.
A delight for any young ballerina, this doll is a must knit. Make your loved one squeal with delight when you give her Belinda to love.
