Two wonderful textured patterns combined together as suggested by Barbara Walker in one of her books in this A-shaped dress. The number of bell ropes decreases as the dress advances upwards, to culminate in one single bell at the top right before the neckline.
The dress is worked in a round and is completely seamless. 3 needle bind off is used to connect the straps at the shoulders. Fingering weight yarn is used for finer effect.
Enjoy knitting it and seeing it worn daily and for many years first as a dress later as a tunic.
