This top down sweater is one that I have made for myself several times and I am currently selling it in a boutique in Jackson Hole where it has been quite popular. It is knitted from the top down using 2 strands held together of a lace-weight mohair/silk blend on #6’s. The bottom portion of the beaded 3/4 bell sleeve is made with a single strand of yarn using yarn-overs to form the flare in the sleeve. I have made it with Alchemy Haiku, Shibui Silk Cloud & Rowan Kid Silk Haze, all of which work beautifully. The Kid Silk Haze will, of course, come out slightly fuzzier because of the higher mohair content.
