You will need:

– knitting needles 3.25 and 2.75 mm US3 and US2 or other size to obtain gauge;
– stitch markers, tapestry needle, stitch holder or waste yarn;
– buttons.

Gauge:
24 sts and 32 rows/rounds = 10x10 cm 4x4 in, in stockinette stitch, using 3.25 mm US3 needles, after blocking and slightly stretched.
