Super cute and easy to make summer bolero jackets for girls. Will complement summer dresses, perfect for special occasions, or just to add a light layer on less hot days.
The lace patterns are pretty on both sides, and I have included instructions to seam in a way that makes the garments reversible.
Easy to memorize eyelets are fun and knit up quickly.
Two different patterns are included: Bella Blossoms ( shown in Ecru and self patterning yarn), and Summer Rain, in the lovely Blue. You can make the boleros with long or short sleeves, and two different hem finishes( plain rib and slight flounce) are also part of the instructions.

Sizes: 0-6 months,6-12 months,1-2 years,3-4 years,5-6 years,7-8 years
to fit chest of 41 (46, 51, 56, 61, 66) cm or 16 ( 18, 20, 22, 24, 26) inches

The boleros are worked flat and then seamed. The sleeves have a slight gather at top and the hemlines are gently ruffled.

Materials: DK yarn (8ply) For the long sleeved version: 100 (100, 150, 150, 200 250) g approx.
For the short sleeved version: 50 ( 100, 100 100, 150, 200) g approx.

Amounts will vary, depending on your yarn choice, get an extra ball, if in doubt

Two buttons, about 16mm or 5/8” diameter

Knitting needles, 3.25mm ( circular, as will work best for picking up sts along neckline) and 4mm

Tension/ Gauge: 22 sts and 28 rows to 10 cm, in stockinette stitch
