The Bella Bralette is a super easy to crochet summer garment that consists entirely of beginner-friendly sc-stitches worked into the back loop only. Compared to classic crochet tops, it closes in the front with small hooks and has no typical lacing in the back. The length of the top can be completely adjusted to your needs and can be crocheted shorter or longer accordingly. Special eye-catchers are also the small stripes, which are connected to the strap.

SIZING:
This pattern is written in a tutorial style, meaning you will repeat certain instructions until reaching your desired size or fit.

MATERIALS:

Yarn:

• Paintbox Yarns Cotton DK (100% Cotton; 125m (137yds) per 50g skein).
• This is a light, DK weight, category #3 yarn. Substitute with any similar, DK weight yarn. Most fibers should work fine in place of the yarn I used, but for similar results to the sample shown, choose a cotton yarn. But you can also choose a different yarn weight and follow the pattern as it’s written.

Estimated amount of yarn needed:
2 (2, 2, 3, 3) (3, 4, 4, 4) skeins of Paintbox Yarns Cotton DK for sizes XS (S, M, L, XL) (2XL, 3XL, 4XL, 5XL).
This is just a guide - meterage will vary slightly due to the tutorial-style nature of working to your exact measurements. For reference, the sample shown (size M) used 2 skeins.

Hook: 4.0 mm or size needed to match your yarn

Notions: Small metal clasps for hooking (size approx. 25x11 mm), tapestry needle, several stitch markers, tape measure & scissors

GAUGE:
10 cm x 10 cm = 23 stitches and 18 rows in sc-blo
Since this pattern is written in a tutorial-style, you can ignore the gauge provided and follow this pattern using any yarn weight and corresponding hook.
