Bella Cardigan
Bella Cardigan is knitted top down in one piece, therefore without seams.
Starting from neckline, after a few rows in garter stitch, we place markers and start increasing stitches along raglans until we reach the desired width.
At this stage the work proceeds back and forth, working in half fisherman’s rib stitch.
Then we divide stitches and put sleeves stitches on hold and continue working the body back and forth to the desired length.
Then we transfer sleeve stitches back to the needle and work them in the round.
At this point, we decrease stitches by knitting two stitches together across one entire row and finally we frame the hems in garter stitch.
