I wrote this pattern to match the Bella cable mittens (Twilight movie anyone?) that I often make for friends and family. I use a modified version of Bella’s Mittens by Marielle Henault, with moss stitch palm, by Nancy Fry. I hope you enjoy!

This worked up as a teen or adult ladies size hat but adjusting the needle size up or down would work to make it bigger or smaller. I have also made a larger size by adding one stitch to the moss sections.

Materials:
Size 4mm (US 6, UK 8) dpn or 16” circular knitting needles (dpns needed for decrease rows)
Worsted weight yarn (I used Caron Cakes) approx. 120y
Fur (or faux fur) pom pom (optional).
Scissors
Darning needle

I used Caron Cakes (bumbleberry), approx 1/3 of a ball.
