100 g worsted weight + 5 mm

What’s this: This is the Bella sun hat. It is my 1st exclusive design for Happily Hooked Magazine. And now, the rights have reverted back to me!

Why should I make this: I much prefer playing in the sun to doing my hair in the summer, don’t you? Made in 100% cotton, this is a quick and easy hat to wear when it’s hot.

When will this get the most use: On sunny days!

Who is it for: Available in 3 sizes from Child to Adult.

Where do I start: This pattern is rated Easy – you’ll need to know or be eager to learn the basic crochet stitches. You will need 100g of wosted weight cotton & a 5.5 mm hook. Other notions: a yarn needle, and some stitch markers.

Pourquoi je l’aime tant? Parce que moi, l’été, j’ai envie d’être dehors, pas de m’occuper de ma coiffure! Et réalisé en 100% coton, ce chapeau est rapide à faire et facile à porter.

À qui s’adresse ce modèle? Disponible en 3 tailles, d’enfant à adulte.

Je commence où? Modèle facile – vous devez être confortable avec les mailles de base (ou avoir envie d’apprendre le crochet). Vous aurez besoin de 100g de coton de poids ‘worsted’ & d’un crochet 5.5 mm. Vous aurez aussi besoin d’une aiguille à laine et de marque-points.
