Bella Sweater is knitted top down on circular needles.
While it’s categorized as an intermediate-level project, its structure remains quite straightforward.
Starting from neckline, after a few rounds in garter stitch, we start knitting in half fisherman’s rib stitch, increasing with basic m1l and m1r along raglan seams.
No short rows are used in this pattern.
Once reached the desired width, we divide stitches and put sleeves stitches on hold.
We continue working the body in half fisherman’s rib stitch in the round to the desired length.
Then we transfer sleeve stitches back to the needle and work them in the round up to the wrist.
At this point, we decrease stitches by knitting two together across one entire row and finally we frame the hems in garter stitch.
