Bella the Bunny
Say Hello to Bella, your new best friend who wants to cuddle. Bella’s favourite thing to do is to hop around the hedge rows looking for blackberries with her friends. She is so pleased with her beautiful dotty dress and loves to swirl around in it. Her name means beauty and she knows how to use that to her full advantage, she’ll have you wrapped around that beautiful little paw in no time!

This is an original amigurumi crochet pattern designed by me (Smiley Crochet Things) to make a bunny. The pattern includes detailed step by step instructions and pictures.
Advanced beginner / Intermediate pattern - a little crochet knowledge is necessary (chain stitch, single crochet, slip stitch, double crochet and treble crochet are used within this pattern), more complicated techniques used within this pattern are described in detail. This pattern uses the amigurumi method of working in spirals.
The body of this pattern is worked as one piece from the toes to the neck, so no need for too much tedious hand sewing!
Size (using suggested materials): 26cm (10 inches) tall and 14cm (5.5 inches) wide.
Materials:
- dk/light worsted (8ply) yarn in the required colours (yarn used for picture is Drops Lima, 65% wool / 35% alpaca)
- 3mm crochet hook
- 9mm black safety eyes
- Polyester toy stuffing
Any yarn can be used with an appropriate size hook, although other weights of yarn will affect the size of the finished item. No required tension, as long as it is worked fairly tightly.
Please always check materials and current safety standards before giving to a small child.
