Bellatrix Shawl
Bellatrix’s unique shape is created using crocheted short rows. Short rows are an easy and fabulous way to shape projects! If you have never attempted crocheted short rows before, don’t worry! I’ve provided a photo tutorial at the end of this pattern that will walk you through each step. After a few minutes, you will be zooming through each row.
You can easily modify this pattern to be larger or smaller than the sample. Instructions are included for fingering weight and worsted weight versions.
Bellatrix can be made in any color of yarn, but especially shines in a heavily speckled yarn. This pattern is perfect for those speckled skeins in your stash.
This pattern includes:
- Detailed photos
- A schematic
- Written instructions with stitch counts provided at the end of each row
- A photo tutorial showing how to complete short rows
- A stitch/row counter for each panel
