This is a great unisex hat design using Rowan Felted Tweed Aran yarn, a lovely textured and robust yarn for the winter. It is a fairly neat fitting design with just the right amount of give in the crown. It has a clean urban feel to it so works equally well for men or women. I have included two size options which should fit most adult heads for men or women.

This is a simple design suitable for a beginner, who has mastered casting on, knit, purl and decreasing. It is worked flat on single pointed needles and then sewn up.

You will need 2 balls of Felted Tweed Aran, the smaller size hat uses just over one ball of yarn, the larger hat uses 1.5 balls of this yarn.
