Every little girl needs a favorite sweater, why not try this one? It was designed and modeled by my favorite little girl.

Pattern is written in symbols and abbreviations. Cardi is written to have motifs joined by crocheting them together as you go. Which adds strength to the fabric, but if you wish you can crochet all the motifs then whip stitch the motifs together at the end.

Yarn:
Lion Brand Microspun (CYCA #4), 100% Microfiber Acrylic,
168 yds/ 70g: Fuchsia 4 (5, 7, 9 skeins)

Hooks:
H/8 (5.0mm) hook or hook needed to obtain gauge

Notions:
Tapestry needle for weaving in ends.
3(3,4,4) 5/8” diameter buttons or snaps
blocking pins and spray bottle
(optional) 2 yds – ½” grosgrain ribbon and matching sewing thread and needle

Finished sizes:
Cardi fits US child 2-3, 4-5, 6-7, 8-9 yrs old. Fit is relaxed. Shown in 4-5.

For a cardigan style instead of a cardi style substitute ½ flower motifs at the panel fronts.
