Bells of Orion
As my grandson Orion’s second birthday was approaching, I wanted to knit him something fun. I decided on knitted ankle bells to put a jingle in his steps. I chose a sport weight yarn with medium sized bells so as not to be too heavy on his small ankles. I’m looking forward to seeing and hearing him run around in these. “Bells of Orion” are knit in the round so there is no seaming involved. Easy to knit and allows you to get creative with color, as well as small amounts of yarn left over from past projects can be used. The pattern has clear instructions for multi-sizing.
Because of potential choking hazard, children under the age of 3 should be supervised.
