Ben Arthur
About
Ben Arthur is designed to show off your favourite skeins of fingering weight yarn. It is written for a single skein, but you could keep knitting, adding as many skeins as you would like to and cast-off when you are happy. This is your project and you can knit it as large or small as you would like to.
A wedge-shaped section of alternating cables and lace sits between soothing stocking stitch edges in this one-skein shawl. The texture is playful and elegant, simple enough for every day wear, but with that touch of sophistication to enhance any outfit!
YARN
A single skein (100g) of fingering weight yarn.
This pattern will work well with single colours, self-striping or even leftovers from previous projects. A heavily speckled yarn may hide the lace and cable section.
Sample used: one skein Rowan Yarn Sock (75% wool, 25% polyamide; 400m/ 437yds in 100g) in colourway “Jewel”.
