Dusk into night during Summer, with its glorious blues, purples and pinks across the sky are the inspiration for this shawl. Simple increases worked in Scrumptious HT pop against the stockinette stitch of the Aerie Lace, giving the shawl a light and ethereal effect.
Beneath a Summer Sky is an asymmetrical triangular-shaped shawl that consists of simple garter and stockinette stitch stripes coupled with a slipped stitch pattern. The slipped stitch pattern is repetitive and relaxing. Instructions for making the pattern larger or smaller to accommodate yarn quantities are included in the pattern. A stitch count table is also included for tracking your count over repeat rows.
