Benji Buttons Bear is a sweet little teddy bear pattern made out of self-striping yarn so there is no need to change colours! He can be made for any age - from babies to adults (just leave out the buttons and safety eyes and nose for little ones.) This is an easy knit.

Size: Benji Buttons Bear is 27cm or 11 inches tall when he is standing
Materials needed: 4.5mm or 7US or 7UK knitting needles, 80g or 2.9 oz of Elle Rustica Chunky Knit Yarn – Shade: Dillweed (352), stuffing, 10mm safety eye, 15mm safety nose, black embroidery thread, beige sewing thread, 1 x 10mm brown button, 1 x 12mm beige button, 1 x 15mm blue button, 2 x 18mm beige buttons, 2 x 20mm cream buttons
Methods used: Cast on using the thumb method, knit or garter stitch, KFB - Knit into the front and the back of a stitch - increases by 1 stitch, K2tog - Knit 2 stitches together as 1 - decreases by 1 stitch, cast off - cast off by knitting two stitches then slipping the bottom stitch over the top one.
