This versatile preemie sized hat is named for the son of one of my favorite photographers. He and his twin sister were both born prematurely but have grown to be happy healthy kiddos!

This had measures about 10.5” around perfect for a small preemie. To make for a larger preemie or a newborn simply increase your hook size up to an I hook and add one row to the length and two more stitches to the flap.

Although designed with little boys in mind it is also can be perfect for a little girl simply by changing up the colors and using an appropriate button for a baby girl!

Although this was written using Caron Simply soft you can substitute any light worsted weight yarn that is soft and appropriate for babies.
