This effective pattern is sure to impress chemists and knitters alike! Stranded knitting worked in the round means there is very little purling involved, and the contrast facing creates a smooth inside layer to sit against your neck. The multiple layers of yarn make this an exceptionally warm and cosy garment.
Two construction methods are given: Option A is seamed and Option B is seamless, using a provisional cast-on and Kitchener stitch to finish.
Supplementary charts of alternative molecules are included:
- Kekulé structure of benzene
- Phenol
- Aniline
- Furan
- Pyridine
- Cyclohexene
- Cyclohexane
These charts could also be incorporated into other stranded or double-knitting projects. I look forward to seeing your interpretations!
