Ber-ta
- a very simple design, especially with embroidery in mind.
About BER-TA…
My dear friend Judit Gummlich recently published the book Embroidery on knits, where she in the most beautiful way, and step by step, teach us how to personalize our knitwear with embroidery. With this BER-TA sweater and lots of help from the book, I will give it a try.
I recommend you to go on an adventure in Judit’s world on Instagram: @ku-ni-ber-ta. Here is inspiration to get, whether you are into knitting, embroidery, sewing, bees or gardening.
BER-TA is a very simple raglan design, knitted top-down in stockinette stitch. It has a boxy shape with boat neck and stubby, medium-wide sleeves and wide ribbing, where the techniques of Italian cast on and bind off have been used.***
