Berberis Beret
Discontinued.
This digital pattern is no longer available online.
I had mohair yarn in my stash and half a skein of Berroco alpaca. I wanted to design a very comfortable and warm beret… I especially like the rib effect contrasting with the softness of the mohair yarn.
The model Christelle has a 22.4” 57 cm head circumference.
The beret is knitted with circular needle size 7 and 8.
Thanks to contact me for any questions.
Enjoy!
Catherine
I have slightly modified the pattern based on the many hats I knitted this winter so I used 4 mm needles for the edging instead of 4.5mm and reduced the number of rows in mohair yarn.
The new pattern takes into account these modifications.
