Bercloux hat
Recently I visited France, and attended a lovely knitting retreat in Bercloux, a small village outside Bordeaux. All the beautiful houses with its bows and decors inspired my knitting and this hat was a result. The pattern includes a little easy cable and some colour work that gives a beautiful textural appearance. Knitted from one ball of Rowan Felted tweed DK this hat is quite elegant and a quick, fun project for warm ears.
Sizes refers to circumference, the height is the same in both sizes, but easily adjustable by adding stitch pattern repeats.
You will need 1 ball of Rowan Felted tweed DK (approx. 35 grams for S/M and 45 grams for L/XL). Also approx. 30 meters/100 feet of a contrast colour 1 and approx.10 meters/30 feet of contrast colour 2 in Rowan felted tweed DK or a yarn similar to Rowan felted tweed DK. I used contrast colours with a low contrast to the main colour.
