Beret No. 1
Beret No. 1 is a classic beret. It is worked from the bottom up in the round. As the work progresses, you will either change to double pointed needles or use the magic loop method.
SIZES
S/M (54-57 cm 21.25-22.5 inches), M-L (58-61 cm 22.75-24 inches)
SUGGESTED NEEDLES
2.5 mm (40 cm) US 2 (16 inches) circular needles
3 mm (60 or 80 cm) US 3 (24 or 32 inches circular needles
3 mm US 3 double pointed needles
GAUGE
In stocking stitch using 3 mm US 3 needles.
23 sts / 36 rows = 10 x 10 cm 4 x 4 inches.
Note, remember the needle sizes mentioned are only a suggestion. Always make a swatch to check your gauge before knitting to ensure the correct proportions of your hat.

50 (50) gr. Cashmere Me, Gepard Garn, 25 gr. / 180 m.

If you would like a pompom at the top of the beret, you can either use Cashmere Me or leftovers in your stash in a contrasting colour.
