A key ingredient of the famous Earl Grey tea, bergamot is for me synonym of softness, calm and comfort. Inspiration for the Bergamote socks came to me while I was savouring my favourite tea in a London tea salon.

Knitted toe-up and using my Tweedledum heel in garter stitch, this unisex, timeless and beginner-friendly pattern will make you want to bring your knitting to the next tea time.

GAUGE
32 stitches X 42 rows = 10cm/10cm square, stockinette in the round, after blocking.

YARNS
“Fingering” size yarn (usually 400m/100g). It is recommended to use yarn that contains nylon, for durability.

• MAIN COLOUR: 270, (290), (310), (330), (350), (370) meters.
• CONTRASTING COLOUR : 50, (55), (60), (65), (70), (75) meters Shown in Botanical Yarn, “Carnation Sock Set” colour

Ingrédient clé du célèbre thé Earl Grey, la bergamote est pour moi synonyme de douceur, de réconfort et de calme. L’inspiration des chaussettes Bergamote m’est venue pendant que je dégustais mon thé préféré dans un salon londonien.

Tricotés des orteils jusqu’à la cheville et arborant mon talon Tweedledum en point mousse, ce patron unisexe, intemporel et accessible aux débutants vous donnera envie d’apporter votre tricot à la prochaine heure du thé!
