The BERGI is a male sporty slightly heavy jersey in a casual classic design with a rustic look. A jersey ideal for everyday use! The material is cotton/linen or pure cotton. The pattern is easy to work making a textured surface where knowledge required is just how to knit and purl. The cuffs and the neck band are worked in a finer yarn to make the finish more smooth and elegant. The shape of the sleeves – set-in sleeves – gives the pullover a perfect fit. On the photo you see the round neck version and the pattern includes instructions for a V-shaped neck as well.

Chest: 92 – 102 – 114 – 126 cm (in: 36 ¼ - 40 ¼ - 44 ¾ - 49 ½ )
Length: 66 – 68 – 70 – 71 cm (in: 26 – 26 ¾ - 27 ½ - 28 )
Material: our NOTO, 50 % cotton/50 % linen, 450 – 550 – 600 – 700 g, to work 3 strands together (2 strands for the cuffs and neck band). Or 4 – 5 – 6 – 7 balls of our AGRIGENTO and 1 ball in ALCAMO, both 100 % mercerized Egyptian cotton.
1 ball = 100 g (3 ½ oz). AGRIGENTO is an aran weight yarn (185 m per 100 g) and ALCAMO is a sport weight yarn (250 m per 100 g) - for the cuffs and neck band.
Needles: no 2 ½ mm, 3 ½ mm and 4 mm (for AGRIGENTO no 4 ½ mm)
Tension/gauge in stocking sts (plain knitting): 17 sts on needles no 4 mm (4 ½ mm) = 10 cm (4 in)
