This small handbag is double knit, resulting in a fabric with 2 right sides. Before attaching the handle, chose which side you like best, and make that the outside! A tight but consistent gauge is important to prevent anything falling through the stitches.

Sizes: The finished bag measures 5” from the top to the bottom of the knitted fabric. (The handle adds an additional 3” of height.) The front and back panels are 8.5” wide and the sides are almost 5” wide at the lower edge. Be sure to purchase a handle that fits. Additional or fewer repeats of the stitch pattern can be worked if another size is required.
