Berkley
I was looking for a ribbed slouchy hat for a male friend. I didn’t have a lot of time to stitch it up so I was looking for a pattern I could crochet instead of knit. I couldn’t find one so I created Berkley. This is a unisex ribbed slouchy beanie that has become my go to pattern this year as I am stitching for the holidays. A trendy slouchy beanie this hat is one any guy on your list will love, not to mention the ladies. The sample is 9.25 inches in length but you can control the amount of slouch by lengthening or shortening the finished piece. There are not any increases or decreases so it’s a great beginner project. The wool/alpaca blend yarn gives it a soft, warm feel with sharp stitch definition and a perfect drape. This is the hat pattern that every crocheter should have in their collection.
