The pattern band on the back of BERLIN 2.0 has a pattern band pointing into one direction and looks best when knitted starting from the center in two directions up to the cuff edges, expanding symmetrically to both ends.
A provisional cast on is used that is very simple to knit and nearly invisible later - provisional cast on by looping stitches onto the needle.
