1) The Berlingot sweater is worked bottom-up, in the round or flat. Back and front are worked together, then work is divided in 2 at the armholes and front and back are worked separately flat back and forth, OR we knit front and back separately from the beginning. Shoulders are joined using three-needle bind-off, then stitches around the armholes are being picked up to knit the sleeves in the round or sleeves are worked flat and assembled to the body.
2) Berlingot is a V-neck sweater, straight, elegant and cozy. Stellaris, the lurex thread brings the little spark that makes all the difference.
3) Silky Kid + Stellaris Option : The sweater is knitted with 2 strands of Silky Kid + 1 strand of Stellaris. Yarns have different tensions it is recommended not to prepare balls of the 3 strands together. You can double the Silky kid and
work with the stellaris yarn together.
Before starting knitting, prepare a small ball of 10g approximately with a strand of each thread / each color = 6 strands in total (3 silky kid, 3 stellaris) to knit the ribs and stripes.
4) Semilla grosso and Brushed baby Alpaca Option, replace : - 6 strands by Semilla Grosso GOTS
