Bermondsey mitts
The pattern for Bermondsey mitts has instructions for either long arm-warmers or short hand-warmers. Both are knitted in the round using 4ply wool, and have a simple 2-colour fair-isle pattern, with a contrast tipping edge for a splash of colour.
The pattern comes in 2 sizes, and has a chart for the fair-isle.
I have given exact yarn weights, so the mitts could be knitted to use
up spare bits of yarn!
The long version uses between 32 - 40g of main colour; 12-15g of contrast colour; and 2-3g of edging colour.
The short version uses between 18-22g main colour; 8 - 10g of contrast colour; and 2-3g of edging colour.
They could be knitted to match Bermondsey beret or beanie - see separate patterns
as part of a collection
