DETAILS
The Bermudiana Sweater is a cozy, oversized garment designed to envelop you in warmth and style. This drop sleeve sweater is crafted seamlessly from the bottom up, culminating in a delightfully relaxed turtleneck that drapes effortlessly around the neck. Ideal for knitters looking to hone their skills, this project invites you to delve into the art of stranded colorwork knitting and the intriguing technique of steeking.
The detailed chart included provides clear guidance on where to catch your floats, ensuring a smooth and even fabric. Additionally, it suggests the optimal placement for a ladder in the Ladder Back Jacquard technique, which helps maintain a clean and polished surface without any strands peeking through. To further assist you, there are links to excellent YouTube video tutorials that offer step-by-step instructions for mastering the Ladder Back Jacquard method and steeking.
One of the many advantages of this sweater pattern is that it eliminates the need to work colorwork on the wrong side, simplifying the process and allowing you to focus on creating a beautiful, intricate design.
