Bernie doll with mittens PDF pattern is written in English. Bernie knitted doll can be used as a souvenir figurine in your home or as a gift to your loved ones. Doll Bernie is approximately 30 cm from head to toe (11,8”). Includes doll, jacket, pants, mittens, mask and glasses instructions. His jacket, pants, mask, glasses and mittens are removable. You can use any other yarn you find suitable - Doll can come taller or smaller but still a lot of fun. The pattern is written for knitting flat on two needles and the toy should be seamed afterwards. Worked flat on 2 straight knitting needles and seamed. With this pattern you can knit your own Bernie with his clothes. This is a PDF file with detailed instructions. The pattern is 24 pages long and has more than 100 pictures to help you.

You can use acrylic yarn. The thicker yarn you use, the bigger toy you will get.
I recommend using needles a size or two smaller than the yarn calls for, to produce a firm fabric.

• Yarn: 100% Acrylic (Wool) Fingering-4 ply-14 wpi:
Beige color-50 gr,
Black color-30 gr. Military green color: -40 gr.
Light brown color: -5 gr. Light blue color: 5 gr.
Dark Brown color - 10 gr. White color.
• For hair: Brazilia yarn from Schachenmayr ( 100% Polyester, 50g (1.75oz),
- White color 98 yards (90 meters) /50 grams (1.75 ounces) – 10 gr.
• Stitch marker, Stitch holders
• tapestry needle
• Fiberfill stuffing
• safety eye -12 mm
• Oil pastels-pink color. (Eye shadow)
• Approx. 25 cm (9.8 inch) of 2 core copper PVC-coated electrical wire (diameter: 2x1 mm), Insulating tape (if you use wire)
• Wire for glasses
• Scissors
• 5 small buttons (or beads)
